BACK TO THE OLD GRINDHOUSE
Portland, Oregon, film collector Dan Halsted digs into his stash of ’70s and ’80s exploitation movie prints for the Grindhouse Film Festival,
Friday through Sunday at the Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport. A
collection of trailers kicks things off at 10 p.m. June 3, followed by a
double feature of “The Mystery of Chess Boxing” and “Shaolin vs. Wu
Tang” on June 4. The June 5 finale pairs “The Gate of Hell” with a
